Android 7.0 Nougat Coming For Samsung Galaxy Note 7 by October

Samsung has officially announced that their new flagship smartphone is going to get the Android 7.0 Nougat Firmware Upgrade later this year.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will ship out in two weeks worldwide with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which means that Samsung will have time to put a lot of work on the Nougat 7.0 release. They need to integrate all their own apps in Android 7.0 before releasing the update and, that is going to take a couple of months of testing before it is ready for a full release.

Android 7.0 Nougat is the next OS iteration that Google will soon release for their Nexus phones and tablets. The Nougat Upgrade should be better and faster when compared with the performance of the previous Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Android 7.0 “Nougat” is already available as a Developer Preview Test build and it can be installed on Nexus phones. The Nougat OS upgrade will bring the split-screen display mode as a native feature of Android, which is a first, as up until now this function was present only on devices released by Samsung or LG.

Here are some of the most important Android 7.0 Nougat features that you will get when the update is rolled out in your region: Expanded Doze battery saving technology, App Source now listed in App info, split-screen display mode, improved notification shade, Bundled Notifications for individual apps, Data Saver mode that will restrict background mobile data usage, better Security, and tons of other great features that Samsung will also add in the following months.
